Have you been told that you have Prediabetes? Prediabetes means your blood sugars are higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This means that you are at a higher risk of developing diabetes.

The All Wales Diabetes Prevention Programme (AWDPP), led by Public Health Wales, offers targeted support to people who are at an increased risk of type 2 diabetes, with the aim of preventing them from developing this condition. Find out more about the All Wales Diabetes Prevention Programme here.
If you have been diagnosed with prediabetes, you will be invited annually for a blood test to monitor your blood sugar control.
